Gathering Heritage Project is seeking a new batch of interviewees for its “Amazing Lives” series which has been part funded for 2020 by Creative Ireland. The project which captures the stories from people who have lived varied and interesting lives is a continuation of the Gathering Heritage Project based in Louth.

“We are once again delighted to to be selected to be funded by this National Programme for Louth following on from the success of the Amazing Lives project in 2019.” said Project Co-ordinator Jason McGee. “I am really looking forward to getting out into the public with my recorder to capture all those life stories and hidden gems that I know are out there from Dundalk  people” said interviewer Harry Lee. “We already have some people in mind but Dundalk has a wealth of genuine characters who have lived amazing lives so I am sure we will have no problem filling this series”.

The project captures audio from 1-2-1 interviews and then converts them into digital podcasts and YouTube clips which are stored online and streamed on Itunes and Spotify.
